The property location is absolutely perfect for someone wanting to explore the city, right near Town Hall all the shops, China town and so on. Checkin was totally fine, seamless and we were able to leave our bags at reception prior to the checkin time. Room was clean and functional, everything worked as expected, room service was daily for us which was good.

Th property was dirty from the foyer to the lifts and continued through the room. Mould annd grime in the shower box and around the basin. Light switches and anywhere people had touched was grimy meaning in hadn't been cleaned in a long long time. Filthy The bedding was clean and the kitchen bench was clean otherwise I wouldn't have stayed. I had another night in Sydney 4 days later for less money just up the road and it was amazingly supperior than this! Dirty little critters

I enjoyed the location of this hotel and the size of my apartment. I liked the balcony-style door, although it was open on arrival. The dining chairs were comfortable, the dishwasher was modern and reliable, and the room was acceptably clean. The reception area was also attractive. Unfortunately, the room is in desperate need of an upgrade and did not match the rooms pictured when booking. The bathroom had missing tiles, water-damaged cupboards, and a non-working hairdryer. The kitchenette was similar, with burn marks on the benchtop and floor, water damage inside cupboards, and doors that would not stay closed. The many laminated signs throughout the room made it feel more like a hostel than a 4-star hotel. The wardrobe drawers were worn, the walls were heavily marked, and the bed was uncomfortable. Only two very thin pillows were provided on a king bed. The TV would not connect for Chromecast use, and the Wi-Fi was not reliable enough to stream a show. Check-in was disappointing. There was no explanation of the security deposit or information about the complimentary coffee machines downstairs, which I only discovered by observing other guests. Check-out was much better. Overall, the stay was okay, but the room condition and service shortcomings outweighed the positives. I'm giving 3 stars because it met basic expectations, but I wouldn't book this hotel again and I am glad i got my room on sale and didn't pay full price.
