This family owned hotel is quaint and charming. It has a lot of special character. Hotel staff were all amazing and helpful, especially the owner. Room was uniquely appointed and very comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and updated. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was really great with beautiful views. Price was very reasonable. Easy to get around old town with location to Metro.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is a 10/10. I would totally recommend it.

Best kept secret in all of Istanbul Turkey, lovely boutique hotel, owner always on staff to greet you and make sure everything is to your liking. Too bad Eggi is now in a sister hotel other wise it would have been perfect. Egg was a great addition to the perfect stay, missed him this time Excellent choice in the center of everything

A very pleasant stay with helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are extremely small (tiny TV) and somewhat dated but the bathroom was clean. Very pleasant rooftop dining and breakfast was very good. A quiet area but walkable to all major sights. Would recommend for a pleasant budget hotel with excellent and accommodating staff.

The hotel rooms were very small. I am 5’4 and feel anyone a little taller than me would struggle with the beds as my feet were at the end. No wardrobe in the room, just a small hanging space with a curtain with 6 hangers. No drawers or shelves so had to live out of the suitcase. Shower was also on the small side and being a little woman feel that many men would struggle. Breakfast was ok. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but personally for the price I feel there are much nicer hotels in the area with better facilities and views. The view from our room was not appealing.

The property was well located, walking distance to most attractions. The decor is well maintained and authentically Turkish. Friendly people and helpful for directions etc.

At Nile’s hotel the staff are going out of their way to help you with any requests you possibly have Special mention at the manager.Heis the best I don’t want to forget the lady T the breakfast room and the cleaning lady so honest To all the staff amention of excellence.

We absolutely loved this hotel. It is in a very convenient position for exploring the city - about a fifteen minute walk from the Blue Mosque - but set in a quieter, more relaxed area. (Istanbul is a busy city so “quiet” is relative and you will be woken by the 4am call to prayer!) The hotel is full of character with traditional, opulent, Turkish decor in the public areas. Rooms re a little simpler but do have some nice touches and are beautifully clean with a shower that works and plenty of towels. The staff are fantastic - front desk staff could not be more helpful and knowledgeable and as for the breakfasts…. I cannot recommend it highly enough! It is taken on the roof terrace with views to the Bospherous in one direction and to one of the grander mosques in the other. The food is absolutely delicious - a huge selection of traditional delights - gorgeous fresh bread, cheese, fruit, cakes, jam, spreads much of it homemade and, as a really hospitable touch, there is often a written explanation of individual choices to encourage you to try them. When breakfast is over, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and tea and coffee are available on the roof terrace until about 10.30. It is a lovely place to sit at any time of the day. I would not hesitate to stay here again on a future visit to this fantastic city.
