Dobrý Basically I booked this for its location and price. Was very grateful to find we had been upgraded to a family room in the basement. Sadly though other residents weren’t as thoughtful and kept us awake till nearly 3 in the morning, slamming doors and talking loudly outside our window and in hallway. Also room was stiflingly hot. There was a fan but it didn’t reduce heat.
Can’t fault how polite and helpful staff were with booking.

On approach of the Portsmouth Inn budget hotel it did look a bit off putting by all the wiring and stuff by the door but, as I found out when you go inside everything is nice and clean. there is nobody there to welcome you. It is a self service keyless entry. when you get in contact with the actual property manager you’re given a card via A key holder lock which opens the front door and opened your room inside the room. It is clean well maintained, decent shower, full tea coffee facilities, the only complaint i must make is the thickness of the mattress wasn’t thick enough for me and found my hips were touching the bed base when I was laying on my side. There again, I am set thick man.
In the daytime, I met the cleaner who was very helpful very polite and very attentive. My stay was pleasant and I would recommend anybody on a budget to visit the hotel.
