The concierges were wonderful and helpful, but many times the doormen were on their phones while we were coming in and out holding bags etc and not really paying attention to the guests as much as they should have. Rooms were clean but on the smaller side, but very skimpy on the body wash. We got a tiny little bottle each day for two of us. I know we could have asked for more but was a bit strange. Location was really fantastic and close to everything. And again, the front desk people were really amazing. Would maybe stay again but will check out other places as well. Nothing bad. But not fantastic.

Downtown location is perfect. 1 block from Boston Common. About 10 minute walk to North End. Beacon Hill, Back Bay and Seaport district are also a pleasant walk. Room includes about 8 snacks and free Keurig maker coffee. Valet parking is convenient. Discounted rooms Friday thru Sunday. A 4 star experience.

The staff was helpful when I had a request. Cleaning staff would not restock bath supplies or coffee. Coffee was not good. Coffe shop next to the Godfrey was terrible weak coffee and bought two capuchins and they were cold. But around the corner is Bonjur and the coffee and breakfast is fantastic and you get 10% discount if you tell them you are staying at the Godfrey.

Fantastické
The Godfrey hotel is definitely in the heart of it all. Easy walk to Boston Commons, and all the T stations. The property is clean and inviting. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and kind. Especially when we needed directions! I highly recommend the Godfrey, and will be the hotel I stay at next time I am in Boston.
