The room was spacious and clean, but it needed painting. When we booked we saw photos of the kitchen area and believed we could cook food in the room, however the hob was not connected to the gas and there was no cooking equipment. So this made our stay more expensive as we had to eat out all the time. The view from the pool is amazing and it was clean, however I cut myself on the tiles and there were lots of sharp edges around. The gym needs updating and tidying up. We asked for laundry twice, no one ever collected our clothes. We also asked for someone to help us use the safe, no one came. The food was really nice and good value, staff were friendly. Overall the hotel needs tidying up and and a refresh.

Staff was very courteous and helpful This place has potential. It is a bit out of the way, but provided excellent views because of its location on a hill. We expected the hotel to respond to your WhatsApp questions about whether they are still open and functioning after the hurricane but didn’t get a response. Fortunately they were open when we arrived. We’d stay there again if we are back in Kandy.

It was good for our needs. Stayed one night to visit the main sites, we walked into town (mostly downhill) and tuk tuk back. Pool had great views and Sri Lankan breakfast was good.

Half the electrical sockets in the room didn’t work, especially the ones buy the bed, the WiFi was terrible & the tv wasn’t working.

The staff was very accommodating and made our stay really pleasant. The only complaint i had was that the bathroom fittings were leaking and there were some stains on the bedding which caused us to get the staff to be called multiple times
