Best thing about the room was the location. IMO, the description and photos were quite deceptive. The space was much smaller than depicted and the view of the bay could only be seen from the corner of the small bedroom. Also, the balcony was NOT usable at all. There was barely enough room to open the door and step out onto the ledge to see the bay much less have the option to sit for a while. More disappointing than that was the extremely loud AC unit. The air conditioner fan was so loud coming on that it actively disturbed your sleep each night. Overall, I was not pleased with the space and cannot, in good faith, recommend it. I'd suggest updating the site to better reflect the existing conditions. The positive is...the location is truly ideal.

It wasn’t bad but I’m not sure that I’d stay there again. The room was clean but it had a constant smell of stale cigarettes and the sofa was covered in stains. The chairs at the table are very heavy and drag across the floor so every morning and night we would be woken by the sound of the chairs being moved around in the apartment above. You’ll need to bring an eye mask with you as the blinds are not very good at keeping the sunlight out. The location is great for Bayside and downtown.

We stayed at The Elser for our anniversary, and overall if was a wonderful experience. The property was very nice and clean, and well maintained. One of the highlights was the beautiful view from our room-we were even able to watch the cruise ships depart from the Port of Miami.
The location is excellent, Bayside Marketplace is directly across the street, offering plenty of restaurants, shops, and entertainment options. The hotel is also within walking distance of CVS, the train station, and other convenient attractions. The train is free to ride depending on your destination, which made getting around easy.
We rented a car and took a trip to Biscayne National Park, which was a peaceful and relaxing spot to spend part of our anniversary. We enjoyed hanging out by the water, and there were food trucks and restrooms available, making it a comfortable place to visit. We also drove to Aventura Mall for some shopping and had a great time.
The hotel can get a little busy depending on the time of day you arrive, but that is to be expected given its prime location. Overall, the Elser is a great place to stay in Miami, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable hotel with easy access to local attractions.

Overall, the accommodations were good. We had one problem with the bed linens being dirty upon arrival. It took 2 days for the host to rectify the problem due to wanting pictures of the linen while we were away from the room and unable to provide them. I booked 2 rooms and they were 9 floors apart, luckily they were booked for adults and not children.

For the amount we paid it was a good deal, however do not expect alot from the common areas. The pool was so crowded by 11:00 I couldnt get a chair to lay in. The lobby was chaotic at all times. Parking for self parking was 60.00 a day and they did nothing about the people having a party in the unit above us at 2:00 am. If your hear to party its a great place to stay, for relaxing I would pick anpother spot.
