Great stay. Friendly staff. Exceptionally convenient location

Would absolutely stay again. This is a beautiful private house that rents rooms and has a great breakfast. The staff is fantastically friendly and helpful. The breakfast is not only a good deal price-wise, but is delicious and all-you-can-eat. They have a coffee room down the hall where you can make coffee, use the refrigerator, or sit to sip tea and a siting room on the front of the house. The breakfast is served in the rear dining room which opens up the to the solarium across the back of the house that looks out across their nicely decorated back yard (this is where we ate each morning). There only downsides are that this is not elevator, so you have to carry your suitcase to the 2nd floor up the stairs and they have no air conditioning, but it was not needed while we were there.

I stayed at Herbert House guest house on 29th May 26 for 2 nights .The location is only a few minutes from Kilarney town centre and in the opposite direction a few minutes walking to Gleneagle hotel were the Harley Davidson festival is located.The rooms at the property are well sized and very clean. There is also a small kitchen for tea/ coffee etc.Cooked breakfast is available if required. The owner is very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended 👍👌

The room was elegant and spacious. The young land was very helpful.

Very walkable to downtown Killarney and there is a great pub across the street with music. Breakfast at Herbert was fantastic and reasonable. The owner and staff were very nice. The only thing that could be improved is the carpeting inside the sleeping rooms.

This place was beautiful and the staff just made you feel right at home! Everything was great!!
