Prohlídka Phnom Penhu na Hedvábný ostrov tuk-tukem

Thanks to our guide George and driver, prompt pick up and first stop was to the Golden Temple. Then to the market, where the challenge was to name the spices, only got two right lol. Next stop was to a local school, the kids were lovely and friendly, relived my youth by joining in with the skip rope kids. Last stop was the Silk Island, we were given snacks and water before the tour. The lady there was informative and talked us through the life cycle of the silk worm. We were able to watch some of the spinning and were shown some of the techniques used to make scarfs. Great morning, thanks George, you were a star

Had a lovely and informative afternoon with Lee. Enjoyed all the sites he brought us to and the fruits provided as snacks (we asked for vegetarian). Only downside is that we were a bit worried because it started raining heavily during lunchtime and send them a WhatsApp to check whether the tour will continue but they did not reply till later. All good cos the rain stopped, but would have been more reassuring if they were more easily contactable.

Guide was friendly and answered all our questions about the sights we seen. Although it was a short 4h, we managed to cover quite a few places such a temple, beancurd skin factory, local market, given coconut drink, and some fruits and refreshment at the silk weaving place. The tuktuk took us around the whole of silk island and were several ferry trips which ferry the tuktuk as well.

It was a nice tour. we learned a lot about the livelihood of people living at the silk island. The guide explain everything we need to know.

Our guide Tin Tin made the trip enjoyable with his enthusiasm and sharing of knowledge. Worth a trip on a casual day to relax and see something different.

a very relaxing tour. this tour is what i exactly needed relaxation. just sitting and enjoying the view and fresh air. the tour guide is very knowlegeable about the different islands that we went to. its basically a community emersion tour. seeing how cambodians lives day to day.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable trip. Our guide Tin Tin very warm and hospitable and gave us a good history lesson for newbies to the country like us. This is a really worthwhile tour because you get to see outside of the city, enjoy ferry and move about in your very own tuk tuk. Tin Tin brought us to see how they made tofu skin, brought us to the silk farm and factory where they use hand looms to weave the silk into cloth. Very laborious and yet very intricate. And we even shared local beer together! A really wonderful experience! Thanks, Tin Tin.
