Got two pairs of glasses done in Jins Atre Shinagawa (right out of JR Shinagawa station). It is tax free. Shop is small but the staff is professional.

Jins designs are nice and affordable. The staff may not speak English, but try their best to communicate via the translation devices. Great service all around, and now even better value with tax free and additional 5% with this coupon!

went to both jins atre ueno and at tokyo station. the one at tokyo station yaesu gransta has more frame selection and was more accommodating. i managed to get two pairs of glasses, progressives with transitions and it was ready for pick up the day we departed. was told it would take seven days and that they cannot guarantee it would be done in time and they do not ship outside of japan.

happy with my experience, made my glasses in shibuya. I would recommend to all.
