Highly recommend! Amazing tour of the local food in the Katong/Joo Chiat area. Loved that it was not just a hawker tour but rather spread out places with a lot of history and heritage. Many places have been passed down for generations. You really get to see the diversity of Singapore through the cuisine. In addition to the superb food, you get to learn a lot about Singapore, walk the local streets, and see some beautiful buildings and murals. Holden, our tour guide, was the best! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and well prepared (tissues, wet tissues, hand sanitizer). Before the tour, he texted us tour details and transportation tips so that we have some way to communicate with him if we got lost on our way. During the tour, he answered all our questions and helped take many fun pictures. We did the tour on Tuesday morning so it was only me, my friend, and one other person. Good portion at each location so definitely come hungry.

Zaniel is an amazing guide. He was meticulous and kind. As Singaporeans, my friends and I benefitted much from this day tour.

Our family joined in the tour, 2 adults and 1 child (8years old) The tour is walking around for 3 hours. It was very hot summer day, but our guide kindly took a rest and provided a various local food and dr inks. My son felt tired but drinks helped him to walk. I think it is a difficult for ourselves to find traditional and veautiful Peranacan rchitecture in Katong and Joo-chiat area. We recommend the tour, because the guide have great hospitality and knowledgeble.

Great tour. Come hungry as there were a lot of different foods to try. Our guide Derrick was so helpful and told us lots of interesting history about Katong as well as trying the foods.

Jamie was an absolute star guide. I loved getting to experience real Singaporean neighborhood food, and feel like a local. Such an awesome experience!

We had a fantastic 3 hour walking tour with stops along the way to try the local food . We stopped at authentic eating places - not hawker market. Holden was an excellent tour guide , very knowledgeable and informative and is really nice friendly guy who was genuinely interested in each of us on the tour . Top tip don’t have breakfast. Well worth the spend plus more .
