Soukromá prohlídka otevřené zoo Khao Kheow

We had a fantastic time at the zoo! We arrived around 9am and were really glad we got there early before it became busy. We chose not to rent a golf cart as we enjoy walking. The zoo is absolutely massive, but the scenery is beautiful and the animals appear to be very well cared for. In about three hours we managed to see everything we wanted to and more. There was a small misunderstanding with our driver about the timing as we initially thought he was telling us we only had two hours in the zoo. In fact, he was trying to help by offering to drive us to the pink zone after two hours so we wouldn’t have to walk the whole distance, which was thoughtful! By the time we realised what he meant, though, we were already halfway around the park. The only thing we found a little tricky was navigating back to the starting point. There are plenty of maps, but because the zoo is so openplan it took us a while to find our way back. Overall, a really enjoyable visit and definitely worth going early!

We had an amazing time. The experience is superb. Highly recommended to those who wants to have a close encounter to wild animals as they just roam freely in the area making this trip extraordinary and one on the book for all of us. Special thanks to our driver Mr. Tuu who exceeded our expectations and provided all the help that he can offer making it convenient and super fun for all of us. Super worth it. A must try, indeed.

The driver was punctual and very kind and thoughtful!! the zoo is so pretty and very fun!! and it’s really big! i recommend rent the golf car, it makes it even more fun! and ofc the highlight of the trip was Moodeng! she is so pretty and small 😭🥹 so cute!! the only downside is that the zoo doesn’t accept card anywhere ☹️ neither souvenir shops or restaurants, so be prepare with cash!

We took the 2-person tour and we were assisted by P'Muay. She notified us before arriving at the hotel to pick us up and she arrived on time. The vehicle was nice and had enough leg room unlike some of the Bolt cars we rode during our Bangkok trip. Despite the limited English, she was very helpful to us! She used google translate to communicate longer sentences. She drove us around the zoo using the golf cart and took our pictures! We said that we only wanted to check out Moodeng and she didn't mind. We asked to be dropped off to Pratunam Market instead of our hotel when going home and she promptly complied. Overall had a fun experience which was made possible by this Klook operator! 😊

司機會一點點英文，去的時候會幫忙換門票、會帶著我們去租高爾夫球車，4人座，2個小時550泰銖，其中50塊是保險，早上9點從下榻飯店出發，10點抵達動物園，停留時間約三個小時，回程下午1點，約2點回到飯店，但想要逛的仔細時間上就會不太夠。 半開放式的展示，猴子會隨時在路上要小心。剛好去的時候沒有看到Moo Deng,但其他的侏儒河馬也好可愛，企鵝、長頸鹿、大象、水豚都能另外買飼料體驗餵食。以體驗來說，我覺得很適合去，能近距離觀賞到動物。

Driver arrives on time and he is very polite and professional. Without his guide, we wouldn’t know how to navigate the zoo. Driver also helped us take some group picture! At the end of the trip, he gave us a little souvenir for us to remember the good time with Moo Deng!!!! We had a wonderful day! Highly recommend to travel with them!

The zoo was rather large and there are a lot to see. You can also rent a golf cart for 550 THB so you can get to points of interest faster. Also, if you are interested in seeing the pygmy hippos like Moo Deng, plan accordingly. They were relatively chill during our time at the zoo, having only changed places once the whole time 😂

The driver, Mr Wut was really helpful and proactive in navigating us around the zoo. He was also accommodating in our request to be picked up earlier so that we can avoid the crowds. The zoo itself was great and the overall ride to and from the zoo was really smooth as well.

เย้….ในที่สุดก็ได้เจอหมูเด้งแล้วแฮปปี้สุดๆ😍เราเดินทางมาจาก อ.เบตง จ.ยะลา เพื่อมาดูหมูเด้งโดยเฉพาะ😅 นอกจากดูหมูเด้งแล้วยังได้ไปดูสัตว์อื่นๆอีกมากมาย และได้ป้อนอาหารให้มันตื่นเต้นสุดๆ เราได้เช่ารถกอล์ฟด้วยค่ะพี่คนขับใจดีพาทัวร์ทั่วสวนสัตว์เลยพี่เขากันเองมากๆขอบคุณนะคะมีโอกาสจะกลับมาเที่ยวใหม่ค่ะ☺️🙏

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A huge shoutout to the amazing taxi uncle who not only drove us from Sukhumvit to the zoo (about 2 hours) but also gave us a personalized tour! He was incredibly humble and generous, offering to guide us around the zoo since we weren’t familiar with the layout. He made sure we saw all the animals (Moo Deng first, of course!) and even drove us around in a golf cart—all without asking for anything in return. Truly a gem of a person! He even took fun, touristy photos for us. He went above and beyond to ensure we got our money’s worth. Trip Breakdown: - Pickup & Drop-off: The taxi picks you up right from your accommodation—super convenient and punctual. - Journey: The drive takes about 2 hours (80km) due to traffic, but our driver kindly accommodated a quick stop for a toilet break and to stretch. - Zoo Arrival: The driver arranged tickets and guided us to rent a golf cart (THB 400 for 2 hours, not included in the package). At first, we hesitated to spend extra but trust me—GET THE CART! The zoo is huge, and walking would take too long, especially with a time limit. - Golf Cart Experience: Renting the cart is simple—register, show your passport, and get a quick tutorial. We thought we’d drive it ourselves, but our awesome driver took over and made the experience effortless for us. - Outer Enclosures: After returning the cart, the driver took us to the outer enclosures (by driving), which are far from the main area. His knowledge of the layout was invaluable—he made sure we didn’t miss anything. - Return Trip: Once done, we were safely dropped back home. Tips: -English is limited, so stick to simple words when communicating. -The driver’s assistance made this trip unforgettable; hopefully, you’ll get someone as amazing as we did! Overall, this was a convenient, fun, and unique experience. Highly recommend!
