Trajekt Lang Tengah - Merang Jetty

Efficient way to travel between the islands. They can drop us at any closest point to our resort, and in fact, I was dropped directly in front of my resort. The island is peaceful and beautiful. Note that the jetty is at a different location from the waterfront jetty, but the map given by Klook is accurate so as long as you don't confuse the two jetties it's fine. I contacted the supplier, who is responsive and they clarified this early on.

Slightly confusing experience as it was past 12noon and nobody called us to inform about the boat. Only after we called one of the mobile num that we were informed to look for small boat named “Bunga something”. As it turned out, the boatman was already at the resort lobby but there was a communication breakdown with the resort staff that did not inform us. It was a small boat to make the 40 minutes crossing. It was a fine and uneventful journey after we sorted things out. We were the only two passengers on this boat.

Departure became 30 mins later. I was informed at jetty. FYI: there're 2 jetties at Merang. From KT, turn left at Shell, then you can reach there.

This service is handle by Azhar. A warm and friendly person. Our boat was running a bit late, and we were well informed on the boat arrival and he kept on apologizing. That was very humble. Overall a very pleasant and smooth journey for us.

Easy to redeem just present the mobile voucher..jetty locate 100m from merang mosque.if u are driving from kuala terengganu the jetty entrance will be on your right after mosque.

Was very convenient to find the jetty (you can waze to vigourmarine jetty to make things easier). Park safely and make sure all doors are lock too! The trip took us approximately around 2 hours and 15 minutes since there was a few stops to drop some passengers at different island. Overall was a good experience 🙂
