Rafting na řece Elo a prohlídka chrámu Borobudur v Yogyakartě

We read the reviews in advance and was careful enough to book just one raft as it is already for 5-6 people. Do take note while you are booking for this activity. It is not based on the number of people but the number of raft u need. We started off at the ending point to collect our paddle and life jacket before taking a mini van to the starting point. The ride takes around 10mins. A humorous safety briefing was conducted keeping us totally attentive of the dos and donts. As the instructor knew we are foreigners, we had a English version and I totally appreciate it! It is a really fun activity suitable for family with kids! Even though I went with my love, it was his first time rafting. Nothing too scary or he might not want to go another one with me next time! haha. It's fun to go through the rapids... The water current isn't very intense, making it a very "chill" and relaxing ride. There is a mid-point where we take a break. They gave us 5 servings of food (5 coconuts, 5 muffins, 5 kuehs etc..) even though there's just 2 of us. Apparently, they serve the food based on the number of rafts u book. i was overwhelmed by the amount given. To avoid wastage, we happily shared with our guide and his colleagues. They do offer photo taking services for a small fee which i opt to take since they are in a better position to take pictures for us! I didn't regret my decision. We are very fortunate to have Alfi (hope i spell his name correctly) as our guide. Not only is he very experienced and speak good English, he is very willing to share his years of experience with Elo River (things that happened previous etc.) and that brings us closer to nature. He is very cheeky! Kept joking with us and kept "disturbing" passing rafts (the playful way), making it a super enjoyable trip! We even had the chance to swim in the river when it is safe. After we are done rafting, we changed out before heading for the dinner (included in the price and its for 5 ppl again. lol!) It's simple, rice with chicken and some vege. Maybe we worked hard rafting through the 8km, 2 of us ate 3 packets. Thankfully we managed to meet Alfi and passed the remaining 2 packets of rice to him. All in all, its a wonderful and memorable trip! Very well planned! :)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had an amazing experience in Jogja! Our driver Adit (selfie attached) was very welcoming, friendly, punctual, and drove safely throughout the trip. He’s knowledgeable and shared helpful local tips, which made the journey smooth and enjoyable. The rafting instructor Aji was excellent — fluent in English, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly and made the rafting experience safe and fun, even though I didn’t manage to get a photo with him. Our Borobudur temple guide (name was either Vita or Vina, selfie attached) was also great. She was informative, friendly, and explained the history of the temple in a clear and engaging way, which really enhanced the visit. Overall, very satisfied with the service. Highly recommended!

Our guides were well versed in English so communication wasn’t an issue. We were very well taken care of as the guides were very experienced. Overall a fun and exciting experience (for first timers)!

Booked this provider via Klook app as it is one of the most recommended activities to do while in Yogyakarta, and it doesn't disappoint. Our kids enjoyed the trip. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, quite funny too when explaining the safety issues. They also provide photograph service for Rp 150.000.

Recommended as the river guide try to make the trip interesting. Halfway through about 6km will have a short break for some snack. Mainly coconut and some local food. Total 12km... Dinner provided... great rafting experience
