We had Haruhiko “Sunny” Tamura as our guide, and he was wonderful! This tour was the perfect mix of cultural learning, sightseeing, shopping, and eating. Sunny did a great job explaining the meaning and stories behind the places we visited. He even brought illustrations to explain customs like how to properly clean our hands and bow, which made learning about Japanese traditions fun and memorable. He was incredibly friendly, personable, and down to earth. His English was excellent, and we had no problem understanding him or asking questions. He gave us great shopping tips, helped us pick out a few shops he thought we would enjoy, and gave us excellent recommendations for lunch. It felt more like exploring with a knowledgeable local than following a typical tour. We learned a lot and had a great time. I would absolutely recommend Sunny and would definitely book with him again!

Není nic lepšího a krásnějšího, než když vás městem provede místní. Bylo mi potěšením dozvědět se od Riho-san více o historii Asakusy, Kappabashi a Uena. Tři hodiny mě provázela s krásným úsměvem. Dokonce jsme si udělali krátkou přestávku na pár fotek, kávu a nákup suvenýrů. Tuto prohlídku mohu jen vřele doporučit.

I had a pleasant experience on this tour as a solo traveler. My guide, Gwen, was very knowledgeable and shared many interesting facts and stories about the places we visited. Since I was the only guest, the tour was relaxed and never felt rushed, and we completed the itinerary on time. I was initially hoping to have a local Japanese guide, as I was particularly interested in learning about Tokyo from a local perspective. Still, Gwen was very knowledgeable about the area and did his best to make the tour informative and enjoyable. Overall, I learned a lot and enjoyed exploring Asakusa, Kappabashi, and Ueno. Thank you, Gwen, for the great tour!

Měli jsme naprosto úžasný zážitek, a to vše díky Cris. Je neuvěřitelně chytrá, znalá, přátelská a skutečně pro nás udělala víc, než se očekávalo. Cris nás promyšleně provedla Kaminarimonem, nákupní ulicí Nakamise, chrámem Senso-ji, ulicí Hoppy, čtvrtí kuchyňského nádobí Kappabashi a parkem Ueno, přičemž se s námi podělila o bohatou historii a kulturu způsobem, který byl snadno srozumitelný, poutavý a nikdy nespěchaný. Byla tak laskavá a velmi trpělivá, zajistila, abychom si plně užili a ocenili každou zastávku. Ještě více nás ohromilo, že po skončení prohlídky nám Cris velkoryse pomohla s orientací v dalších oblastech, které jsme chtěli prozkoumat, včetně Ginzy a nákupních míst, což jsme si opravdu vážili a vůbec jsme to nečekali. Je to skutečně úžasná osoba a výjimečná průvodkyně. Určitě ji doporučíme každému, kdo navštíví Japonsko, a na naší další cestě ji budeme absolutně znovu kontaktovat. I had a fantastic tour with Kirill! Not only was he very knowledgable about the sites we visited but also a very good communicator, the standout of the tour for me was visiting Ueno Park and getting the all too forgotten historical backdrop to the "Last Samurai", Saigō Takamori and the features of the park that are in contrast to him. Kirill also gave plenty of time for shopping around Kappabashi and getting refreshments throughout the duration of the tour, the latter was much needed on a hot summer's day in Tokyo! I would also like to highlight that Kirill knew some great hidden gems, some which were in plain sight but get bypassed and some hidden away, but I cannot spoil what those are! I highly recommed this tour for those who are genuinely interested in learning more about the area and Japan's History as a whole, the end point being Ameyoko and Ueno Station works great with any further itinerary for the day.

Měla jsem opravdu štěstí, že jsem si prohlídku udělala sama, takže jsem měla pocit, že jsme jen já a moje průvodkyně Miyuki, které se procházely po Asakuse, Kappabashi a Uenu! Většinu času sněžilo, ale prohlídku jsem si opravdu užila. Je to dobrá volba, pokud jste v Tokiu poprvé, zvláště pokud bydlíte v oblasti Asakusa. Vřele doporučuji!

We had such a wonderful tour of Asakusa with Hiroko! She was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly, making the whole experience feel relaxed and personal. We learned so much about the history and culture of the area while discovering some beautiful spots we might otherwise have missed. Hiroko was a fantastic guide, and we’d happily recommend her to anyone visiting Tokyo!

I had a wonderful morning with Naoko! She made sure to be easy to find, explained the history and culture well - especially to at the local temples. She also made a point to adjust to my specific interests without me asking. I could not have had a better first day in Tokyo!

Our guide, Hiro, was friendly, informative, and very accommodating. He explained many historical facts that we would not have known about what we were seeing. He demonstrated how to behave at shrines and temples. He also helped me to find a particular knife shop in Kappabashi, which was truly appreciated. I would recommend booking this tour for any first-timer to Asakusa
