Nagoya Castle was one of the highlights of our trip and far exceeded my expectations. The castle grounds are beautiful, well-maintained, and rich with history. While the main castle tower is impressive, I highly recommend taking the time to explore the entire complex rather than limiting your visit to the castle and Honmaru Palace. The palace itself is stunning and absolutely worth seeing, but there is much more to discover throughout the grounds. One thing that greatly enhanced our experience was wearing yukata during our visit. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend renting a yukata or kimono before your visit. The effort is worth it. Be sure to explore the quieter areas around the moat and the back portions of the castle grounds. There are beautiful views overlooking the city. If you are visiting Nagoya, do not miss Nagoya Castle. Give yourself plenty of time to explore, wander, and enjoy the grounds. It is far more than just a castle—it is an experience.

C’était une très belle visite. La partie que nous avons visité était particulièrement belle, c’était simplement dommage de ne pas pouvoir visiter la partie principale à cause des réparations encore en cours… À visiter pour votre prochain voyage à Nagoya !

The place was nice and it was great to witness a piece of Nagoya history. There was also a Ninja show and an inside tour of one of the houses beside the castle. Food was also available outdoor and we ge to try japanese skewers and noodles. I would recommend Nagoya castles for folks visiting Nagoya

the ticket is easy to use that we just have to show the QR code to the staff at the entrance then we can go in, however the top of the castle cannot be reached at this moment as renovation is in progress.

There was a long queue in front of me. When I went to book with Klook, it was immediate. scan the QR code at the entrance and you can enter and skip the queue! Awesome! ease of booking on Klook:

very easy yo use, just present it to the entrance. unfortunately the main castle is not open for viewing today. avail your ticket through klook, you won't regret it

Main Castle Tower is on the processing of wooden restoration since 2018. Tourists can visit the other attractions such as Hommaru Palace, Ninomaru Garden and Nishinomaru Okura Museum.
