Starbucks Reserve Dewata Coffee Experience v Seminyaku na Bali

It was a wonderful experience. Our facilitator, Andiya was knowledgeable and friendly. He explained the concepts with simple and easy to understand terms. Other than the theory, we got to try pour over method and learn how to appreciate the coffee. Strongly recommended!

We had a truly wonderful time at the Starbucks Experience Workshop in Dewata, Indonesia. Our instructor, Maira, was absolutely superb—her depth of knowledge about coffee was impressive, and she delivered everything with such clarity and passion. It was clear that she not only knows her subject inside and out but also genuinely enjoys sharing it with others. Her guidance made the entire experience both informative and engaging. What we appreciated most was how the session took us on a journey—from understanding coffee origins and brewing techniques to learning about the subtle nuances that influence flavor. It was not just a workshop but a complete experience that deepened our appreciation for coffee in a way we hadn’t anticipated. The location itself added so much to the experience. The Dewata Starbucks Reserve is absolutely stunning—beautifully designed and incredibly photogenic. Every corner of the space felt curated for both learning and leisure, and yes, it’s totally Instagram-worthy! Another highlight was the opportunity to take home exclusive souvenirs that are only available at this location. It made the experience feel even more special and memorable. We highly recommend this workshop to anyone visiting Bali, Seminyak or living nearby. It’s a unique offering—currently the only Starbucks Experience Workshop of its kind—and it’s perfect for coffee lovers, curious minds, or anyone looking to enjoy a meaningful and enjoyable activity in a beautiful setting. It was definitely a highlight of our trip.

our experience was superb. Our Barista, Bobby guide us through the process how to extract Espresso, steam the milk and to make coffee latte art. it was a memorable experience to us.

Mr Anditya was very patient in teaching and gentle. Even though my husband wasn’t delicate in pouring, he shadowed my husband’s hands to wiggle and pour the milk into shapes and patterns into the coffee. We used the Oviso machine which was a rarity and more precise. We will try other classes in time to come. My husband loved the merchandise available, pity rhey didnt have Starbucks Pins and stickers. My husband loves to paste stickers of different Starbucks on his luggage. The vibe inside store was relaxed and serene. Loved the murals on wall from 2nd floor. Could easily stay for hours chilling. Would be nice to relocate the Reserve to the beach side, so you can catch the sunset, waves and breeze all at once.

It was truly an experience we will always treasure. Bali is well known for its rich coffee beans, along with its wide variety of coffee shops and unique coffee-making techniques. If you're a coffee lover, this experience is definitely a must-try. Our barista, Andi, was very proficient in English and answered all our questions with ease. He clearly explained the procedures and even shared the science behind coffee making. You could really tell that he is knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about his craft. Overall, the experience was holistic, unique, and unforgettable—something you can truly appreciate at Starbucks Diwata. If you ever get the chance to visit, make sure to give it a try. It’s one of the best ways to immerse yourself in Bali’s coffee culture.
