Booked this non-refundable months in advance before the conflict in Dubai started; hotel and Expedia would not respond to emails or calls after initial discussions for a refund relating to the conflict or credit towards another stay - flights were already refunded. Hotel does not reply to any questions or messages on Expedia; had to find a contact on some online forum to even ask basic questions. Pretty disappointed with how staff handled responses but definitely learned my lesson for cheaping out on refundable trips...

I booked 1 night at this hotel but left before unpacking my case. The place is not suitable to stay in right now. Parts of the hotel are under construction. 2 of the lifts are not working, so it takes a very long time to.wait for a lift. When it arrives it is already full. People resorted to taking the stairs up 15 floors as it was quicker. The roof restaurant is not open either. There is a cafe on the ground floor but not suitable for meals. I complained to reception but was not offered a refund.

The room is very spacious and well-kept. Housekeeping kept the room clean and tidy. The breakfast is adequate and plentiful. The location is very close to the gate avenues, and there are many supermarkets close by. The room service is prompt and reasonably priced.

There are frequent delays at the elevators, and this issue needs to be addressed. At times, the elevator arrives already full, preventing us from boarding.

The room felt neglected, the faucet in the bathroom was lose. We had to change room because our first assigned room smelled like someone smoked in it. General service by staff was not good.
