In future good price of not I wouldnt stay again , the room was cold , and really not suitable for two people , we got up early to leave the room , really not a pleasant stay , no room to put anything , budget still was over £100 certainly not worth that in my opinion

Very small room, facilities poor, air conditioning was on coldest setting could not adjust. Not an enjoyable stay.
The receptionist was helpful.

It’s a very basic hotel. The advert said air conditioning, but there wasn’t or it’s not controlled within each bedroom.
Very loud- doors slamming all night. Hence why they provide ear defenders as standard. Location was great but don’t think I would stay again.
I also found the receptionist fairly rude.

Could have done with AC as the room was tiny and heat built up very quick. Especially with no window. Lights in room kept flickering too. Room was very clean though have to say

Excellent location, clean and no problem with the one staff member we met, who was similarly indifferent to us.
Booked for convenient city centre location and aware that the room would have no window, but hadn't appreciated it would barely have space to turn around in. No doubt the room qualifies as a double by some technical, legal, definition, but can't recommend it to anyone but the most petite and light luggaged of single travellers.
Edinburgh generally is expensive, but boutique London hotels would blush to charge this amount where the amenities are towels and toilet roll...oh and complimentary ear plugs, presumably instead of any effort to sound proof as it would only further reduce the room space to do so.
Another time if short of options I would book out of town and pay for a taxi with the spare change.
Oh also, no lift so if you don't fancy 3 steep flights of stairs it's worth requesting a lower room.

Room is quite small, perfect position for shops, trains and bus and tram stop just outside hotel. Downside was getting woken up by the council digging the road up just outside the hotel at 12 am lasting about 30/45 mins. Didn’t sleep well after that!

Get a room with no window. It’s so good to have no light when you’re sleeping. Every bedroom should have no window
