Hotel Sardonyx Tokyo is excellent. Large rooms for Japan standards, amazing breakfast, really close to the subway station (Hatchobori Station where you can connect to many other lines and go to places such as Tokyo Tower, Shibuya Sky, Shinjuku, and many others). There is an almost hidden restaurant on the corner, up some stairs, called Saizeriya which is good and very cheap (15 dollars for 2 people). Hotel staff is very attentive and kind, going out of their way to make you feel at home. It’s not the cheapest hotel but it’s worthwhile. Walking distance to Tokyo main train station (I.e., Shinkansen) if you’re not carrying suitaces (we had backpacks). Spot clean rooms, good bathrooms. Highly recommend.

Good breakfast. Nice staff at check in. Bathroom didn't seem mopped and one day had a bandaid in my bath towel (somewhat gross because I didn't see it before using said towel). Location is excellent.

The hotel is outdated and needs a little renovation work. Otherwise love the central location of the place and how big the rooms are. Staff were nice. Bottle water during the day was a nice touch.

The staff was very nice, the room always had new towels and the bed was made daily. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety with a mix of eastern and western food.

Had little hard time to communicate with staff. Room is not as clean as we expected. Didn’t provide airport shuttle. Very like the self serve tea, coffee & water.
