Afternoon lady on the reception was lovely and really welcoming.
hotel clearly going through some renervations, its tired and a little grubby.
Room was large and had everything that was needed including a hairdryer, opening window and fan > these are usually needed to be asked for so that was nice.
The room did have a smell to it, seemed to be from he bathroom, unsure if this smelt of urine or if it was a bit foisty, but looked clean. so i didnt complain.
The hotel was very busy, booked 100% needed if you wish to eat in the restaurant. (the food is nice)
Other guests not so quiet, door slaming, shouting and lots of children running about unsupervised, the hotel is very large, may need some extra staff to watch cameras so this can be managed.
Breakfast was basic but did the job.
Overall not a bad stay.
