The hotel is very close to the station and many dining options available nearby. Over the years I have stayed here many times, and the rooms are a decent size. The room I booked was very functional, but could be seen as dated, as there are no direct USB ports, but if you are travelling, you have your owm anyways. The staff was also very helpful. I had to borrow an iron and board, and they were able to hold our baggage after check out.

Richmond Hotel is located within a short walking distance from the Utsunomiya Station. The room size is generous and the staffs are very helpful.
There are a lot of restaurants and shopping areas nearby. The breakfast is good and delicious.
I recommend Richmond Hotel when you are in Utsunomiya!

Overall great stay here, plenty of amenities for the business traveler. Location to Train Station is very good and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Staff were all very helpful. The breakfast buffet is excellent!

Nice hotel with lovely staff - decor was a bit dated but that was part of the charm. We loved the freebies trolley with tea, coffee, toothbrushes etc. I have allergies and it would have been nice to have the option of a non feather duvet and pillows, instead I got a blanket in a duvet cover and tiny square cushions which weren't as comfortable.

It was a totally fine business style hotel with a really great shower. The AC was very difficult to figure out for English-only speakers. But that’s our fault :)
