Staff overall were lovely and extremely helpful. Wanted to ensure stay was comfortable even when having to report issues. The place does feel neglected in parts. Lots of cobwebs and tables on terrace not cleaned. That was a pity as it is a lovely area to sit and relax in the evening. Had issue with the room and the cleaning. Bath was dirty and as soon was water was turned on, the dirt was visibly washing down. Staff however handled it well to their credit but they should not have been in that position to start. Was moved to different room and the difference was vast…..clean, well maintained, no carpet stains etc.

This hotel was our most expensive and most disappointing! Check in, I asked for two keys and got one, we had one small and one large towel. The bathroom was grubby and the service in the restaurant very cavalier. We asked to sit outside for our last dinner of the trip and were told that if we went outside, we could not come back in!? They said it was full in the restaurant but it wasn’t. All in all, very disappointing for the class of hotel! By the way, the Japanese rugby team stayed in this hotel!

Stayed here for 2 nights for to flight cancellation. Booked a junior sweet as we're family of 4. Even though this is probably a business and golf orientated hotel, the kids loved the pool (and we loved the view from the pool to the fort course) and the breakfast bar was very good. We'd happily stay here again

Overnighter on way home from Spain. Room was good for size, Spacious enough, toilet very small though, air con wasn’t very good either. Walls marked and just didn’t feel like the quality a 4 star should. Only 1 flat pillow each and whilst I probably could have asked for more after an 11 hour drive I couldn’t be bothered. Didn’t sleep due to flat pillow and very flat bed. Parking was fine and close to hotel. Friendly check in guy, and check out guy. Handy having useable freezer compartment and fridge for our drinks bag for way home.

Nice hotel well located. We stayed there as we were moving back to USA. Room had everything you need: kitchenette, comfortable beds and well located near to restaurants, shops, etc. Golf course, pet friendly and friendly staff made our stay pleasant.

Good and practical apartment for family of 5 & our dog. Very good service and amenities, dog friendly w space for our furry friend to roam on the lawns next to the hotel.
