Per sota de la mitjana Terrible internet! No A/C! Worse I have stayed in! I was put in a handicap room. The shower got the entire bath standing in water. This was due to the shower having no raised tile so a wheelchair could roll in. The tiny sink was at my knees. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! I tried to get other accommodations elsewhere but nothing was available. It was so bad, I was willing to loose the price we had paid!

Fantàstic I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this place. I was initially a little skeptical about staying in a hotel over a brewpub, but it was really perfect for our family (two parents and two teens). The staff could not have been more friendly, and really went out of their way to accommodate us in every way. Having the brewpub there was actually veryy convenient - from beers on the terrace to burger dinners for our (picky) teens, to late night hot dogs, to the tasty breakfasts each morning. We never had any issue with noise. The location was also fantastic - just a block from the Royal Mile, but slightly removed from the touristy upper end. And the rooms were spacious, with fun decor - the guitar and turntables in the room were a welcome touch. All in all, we had a tremendous stay. Thanks!

Fantàstic Great location in the old town. Staff were amazing, helpful and happy. Rooms were exceptionally comfortable and included breakfast was brilliant. Meals were good and outside deck for an afternoon drink very enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again - been travelling for 7 weeks and best property we have stayed at.

For the right kind of traveler this is the perfect hotel. Great staff, great amenities. Friendly for families, near the train station. Good restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Lots of space in the rooms and in the common areas.

Fantastic hotel in a great position for exploring Edinburgh. The most amazing thing about this hotel are the staff who couldn't do enough for us during our stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will be returning in the future.

No air conditioning in any of the rooms!
They want you to open the windows, which are facing the trash cans.
Shower tile grout was filthy and full of mold.
Sink was extremely small and very low to the floor.
The elevator was out of order, so be prepared to carry luggage up and down stairs. You can hear neighbors stomping and if you have a suite, the neighbors doors closing will rattle your door loudly everytime.
I booked a suite and got the handicapped version instead. The room was not what I saw in the photos. Smaller sq footage. No kitchenette. They didn't offer to make any of this right. Which is pretty horrible considering 2 nights is almost 800£
