The husband and wife team who own and run this former first prison for women in Iceland were fantastic! They were so helpful and congenial, and the breakfast was wonderful, also!
The beds were very comfortable and I highly recommend this location as a must stay.

Fantàstic Clean room and property, with a great breakfast buffet in the morning. I appreciated the common area with a water kettle, fridge, and seating. FYI that guests are asked to take off their shoes and wear slides throughout the property--this isn't something that I had an issue with, just of note. Easy to get to.

What a lovely spot! The owners are delightful and we felt like we were having breakfast in a family kitchen and dining room.
Beds were comfy, private bathroom was newly-renovated.
Don't miss this gem!

Staff went out of their way to greet us and wake us up to ensure that we saw the northern lights at 11:30 PM. Property was clean, breakfast was delicious and filling for a European B&B. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone staying in this area.

A wonderful stay just east of Selfoss. Terrific owners, a great breakfast, and a lounge to relax in at night. They even turned off the lights outside overnight so we could get a chance to see the northern lights.

Wonderful and kind staff! They had a big spread for breakfast. We stayed in a room with an on suite, and it was wonderful! The small amenities of Q-tips and cotton rounds as well as washcloths! My favorite stay while in Iceland.
