Old school style hotel. Clean and a short walk to the railway and Metro. Good restaurants across the road and adjacent to the hotel.

Estada individual

Good breakfast with egg options cooked fresh in the restaurant. Good location for local shops and restaurants. Room ready upon a rival which meant an early check-in was possible which was a big bonus. Only downside is that the room did smell a little smoky which for a non-smoker isn't great.

Nice location, staff are very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to Eastern Guangzhou station where is available to take a fast speed train to Hongkong. Restaurants and shops around. Very comfortable room, clean and quiet. Amazing city!

Old but gold. Old hotel, old design and deco, but clean and well-maintained. Nice and firm bed, quiet rooms ensure you'll enjoy a good night's sleep. 3 restaurants, 2 of which the dim sum and Japanese restaurants are highly rated. There's a convenience stall in the lobby as well. There's a spa which we didn't get to try. The gym is basic but functional.

Price is usually reasonable. Ended up paying USD 140 a night for a pretty dated and mediocre (albeit reasonably clean) room which was pron near 3x the normal price. Fulfills the basics
