Start Hostel is a great place to stay flying in and out of Keflavik. The staff is great - so helpful. With all of us going in and out, they still keep it so clean.

I highly recommend this hostel. Staying at a hostel is not something I've done, but this was a lovely experience. The staff are helpful and cheerful and kind. The place is clean and well equipped and filled with homey joy. It was exactly what I needed as a female traveling alone with a long layover in Iceland. I would definitely repeat this experience.

The staff were fantastic, checking in at two am and being greeted enthusiastically. Everything was clean and tidy. The breakfast buffet was quite good and starting at four am is a bonus for anyone leaving early. I would definitely recommend this hotel/hostel.
