a wonderful smaller hotel in the center of ancient datong city, with helpful staff, comfortable room and a great breakfast to start the day. the hotel is a short walk to all the must-see sights in ancient datong city. i would definitely stay here again if i return to datong.

This is a great small inn in the heart of the walled city of Datong, close to all the sights. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was delicious. The entrance is a little hard to find though, located just behind the mosque.

Strategically located and easy to find food. Staff are welcoming and giving advices on attractions. No lift in the hotel so expect to carry your luggage if you are allocated a unit on 3rd floor. Room is decent and toilet is a bit squeezy. Breakfast is free, with some simple dishes. Overall, value for money.
