Room stunk of mildew and also had a smell from the air- conditioning. Room cupboard structures falling apart probably from a leaking fridge . Shower very small as was the room. Bed was good and comfortable. Cleaner gave us a few extra coffees which was nice but that's the only good comment. As we had to leave early on our last day we were told that we could get a free coffee and muffin at the breakfast area. When we went there on the last morning they told us we would have to pay for it. Best option would be to knock it down and build a new facility especially before the lift breaks. Not a good experience unfortunately.

The hotel was comfortable for a short stay. However my non-smoking room stunk of old ciggarette smoke and there was ash on the desk next to the window. Room and bathroom were both clean. No bath towel on arrival and the one I got from reception had a massive rip in it. The bed was comfortable, aircon worked and lots of street parking available. Price was cheap for a very central location.

This Ibis hotel is alot more old / worn out compared to the other Ibis hotels I have stayed at. The hallways and room
Carpets and walls has been better day. The room is clean. Has everything you need.
For 1 night stay it is ok.
Main Street is not a nice but surrounding areas is ok and easy to get around.

My wife was booked into have heart operation. I am eighty and I was stressed having a three hour journey to arrive at admissions for 7am . I rang the day before. Shown know compassion, just told that would cost more. I just needed a place to relax . The fire alarm went off with no explanation for a lengthy time. So though the hotel staff were pleasant, we had no money to spend on extras. It was a life saving trip not a holiday. So you could have been more compassionate given our circumstances
