Genial
This is a great hotel for a stay near a city. The staff were friendly and the service was good. Breakfast was well thought out but we feel that the general menu for lunch and dinner needs improvement. The quality of the food we ate there was good though. The gym was lacking, very small. The pool area was a bonus, didn’t struggle to get a sun lounger, would have liked more staff presence here for a five star hotel. We heard that they were short of staff members due to long term illness though. Overall a good experience. The WhatsApp messaging service worked really well for booking gym, shuttle service (a great bonus for the location of hotel).

Likes: Staff, Room view, shower/bathroom, pool, restaurant, very nice experience. Cons: Not walkable to city center, 10/20 euro cab(not a total con, but advisory) a lot of construction near by, not disclosed on website. Local eats are 5 minute walk. Wish this was adult only. Hot tub cold, but a great pool. Id stay here again. Also, we were late coming back from wine tour in Tuscany and they stayed open late to feed us dinner. Really appreciated that.

One of the most perfect hotels we’ve stayed in, I love how *just* outside the city center it is. The pool was the perfect afternoon Oasis after exploring the city. Well equipped to handle our large family and young ones. Couldn’t recommend more!

Our time at Ville Sull’Arno was superb. The staff is extremely helpful, especially Sarah who assisted us throughout our stay. She was very attentive and thoughtful. Hotel room, spa and grounds are so beautiful! The food and cocktails are excellent! I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Florence. This hotel provides all you need and more.

The staff are very pleasant and helpful. We spent time at the pool and had breakfast on one of the days. We also visited the spa. Our executive room had 2 beds and view of the river. It was large, clean and well appointed, perfect for my daughter and I. The downside to this hotel is that it is a ways out of Florence centre, about a half hour walk and not sure i would be comfortable walking at night in the area. They do offer a free shuttle however the times did not always work for us. We took taxis because it was too hot to walk or too late in the evening and the price of the taxi's did add up over our 3 day stay. Our facials at the spa were just ok. Beautiful environment but not sure they are worth the price. Pool area filled up fast due to the hot weather. If you want to be away from the centre of Florence, this is a great choice.
