Family in from out of state which included 2 adults and 2 minors. Room was fine, except carpets had just been cleaned and either the venting in the room or the carpet as it dried had a funky smell. We made sure to leave air conditioning on while out on excursion which did help by fourth day of the stay. Upon first day, we learned that the door to the room does not automatically lock. We needed to intentionally pull it shut while leaving. Fortunately, we were not gone long, and nothing was taken in our absence. Centrally located, which was a plus.

We were surprised to learn that there isn’t a free breakfast available - not even a continental. The only place to eat is overpriced an Starbucks branded counter. Additionally despite having a huge parking lot in an industrial park and no security, they charge $15 a night for parking. I’ve never seen that at a Courtyard. There’s too many equally priced places to stay to put up with this nonsense.

Our room was on the first floor close to the exit and it was very noisy in the morning. I could hear people talking out in front every morning. I would request a room on another floor.
