This is an older hotel, traditionally run. You will interact with human beings checking in, checking out, etc. Western breakfast is mini ( very mini) omelets, French fries, decent coffee and weak orange juice. You’ll have to pay to watch western content on TV. Our room was spacious by Japanese standard, but the bathroom was cramped.

The bathroom was a bit dark. Seeing a cracked toilet bowl and some rust spots also made it look dated. The staff were lovely.

It is near the train station and trams stop. Good breakfast spread. Providing toothpaste pack without toothbrush pack will be more ideal. Tv seems to off by itself in the nights.

Easy access to the train station and many car rental car shops nearby to explore Kumamoto further. Bfast was good and beds were comfy.
