Disappointing stay due to room condition
I had high expectations for Rosewood San Miguel de Allende given its reputation, but unfortunately our room experience was very disappointing. The air conditioning seemed to be malfunctioning and had a very foul smell, as if something old and damp had been left sitting in the system. The odor was extremely unpleasant and happened both nights of our stay. It was strong enough that I had to personally spray the room with air freshener each night just to make it bearable.
For a property of this caliber and price point, room maintenance and basic comfort should be impeccable. The smell significantly affected our stay and was not what I expected from a luxury hotel. I hope management addresses this issue promptly.
