Incredible visit for our first time in Galveston. The room was gorgeous. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The Rooftop Bar is a must visit. We will absolutely be returning here next time we are in Galveston.

Upstairs bar was closed for a private party. :( Really wanted to sit outside and watch the sunset on the rooftop bar. Ended up at the downstairs bar.

Absolutely lovely hotel without feeling pretentious. This was our second stay here (nd has become our favorite hotel in Galveston) Warm greeting each time we've stayed, impeccable and friendly customer service at the front desk, cafe, and both bars in the hotel. Interiors have been thoughtfully considered and are very comfortable. Right around the corner walking distance from the strand and our favorite restaurants and bars there. We'll stay again as Galveston has become one of our favorite weekend getaways close to home. 10/10 recommend!

Very dim lighting in bathroom , nonabsorbent towels, not "premium" bedding as advertised. Help from bellman was not available to carry luggage up and down lobby stairs. Inattentive lobby bartender
