This is not my first stay at W Muscat, and my previous experiences have generally been very positive. However, during this visit, the room service response time was noticeably slow, and in some instances, calls were not answered at all. The staff are usually exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and warm, which has always been one of the hotel’s strongest qualities. Unfortunately, this visit felt noticeably different in that regard. That said, the quality of the food remained very good, and the overall experience was still enjoyable.

Great breakfast options. Staff made tremendous effort with my daughter for her 30th birthday, providing cakes for her and wishing her happy birthday. Room was clean and spacious. Pool was great size so plenty of space and poolside dining was useful.

We experienced 3 issues while at the hotel and as we left we were informed that the manager would be in contact with us the following day. A week later no contact made.We had also booked another stay at the end of the month and although we have messaged the hotel via the hotel.com link last Sunday and yesterday we have not had a reply.

There was a water leak in the middle of the night, and maintenace came to fix it in the morning delaying our day as we could not shower etc. The response from the reception when we told them was sorry but in a way that felt it was normal and we should accept it. Then our sun tan lotions were taken from the sun lounger when we left for a few minutes and the straw that broke the camels back was unprofessional approach at breakfast.Sufice to say we complained and were told the manager would contact us today, guess what still no contact. Based on their approach to customer service I wouldnt stay there again.
