Very basic old hotel close to Kaohsiung train station.

Once you figure out how to exit Kaoshiung Main Station, the hotel is an easy 8-10 mins. walk away. There are multiple properties of same chain all around station and throughout city - keep an eye on address. Hotel is in an older building, cleanly maintained. Just a little more wear. Odd additional exterior wood doors to an indoor hotel, to functional and small rooms containing twin beds. Adequate storage space provided to store luggage, including a small table and desk, and lighting. Central lighting switches were a game to figure out. Smaller bathroom with sufficient space. Basic ameneties were sufficient - primary goal was location and easy access to all transportation options at the nearby station. Generally sound-proof, despite being by the station. Entry way has multiple steps up but also a steep ramp to allow for pedestrians with good balance or towing luggage to enter the lobby. Nice ammenties with 24 hr. ice cream, tea and coffee available, and free laundry/detergent on main floor. Also nice breakfast buffet on the 2nd floor - keep an eye out on clock, servers are quite efficient. Front desk staff are pleasant, and speak some English.

Kaoshiung station is only 3-4 mins walk. 7-11 around the corner. Free cookies, coffee, tea, and ice cream for guest. Room was always clean. Free use of the washer and dryer with free laundry powder.

All good except the sound of aircon was annoying during the night

Super friendly and accomodating staff. Less than 10 min walk fom Kaoshsiung station. Breakfast buffet is extensive. Food is prepared with fresh ingridients but the taste could be little improved. You can have free ice cream, coffe & tea, and cereal all day long. Free to use laundry machine & drier come with detergent, ironing items, laundry net & basket. Room is very clean. Bonus is shower slippers.

The hotel is very clean. The bed and comforters are very comfortable. Parking lot is behind the hotel and easily assessable. Breakfast buffet is extensive. There is also an 24 hour snack bar with coffee, drinks, and ice cream. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay.

The staff is really helpful in providing local tour service.

RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE FRONT DESK TOWARD THE END OF THE STAY. PROBABLY SOME STUPID CUSTOMER COMPLAINING ABOUT NOISE. IT'S 11:30AM, NOT PM!

Wonderful staff. Great Location minute walk to Main Train Station. Comfy rooms, and Breakfast uncluded. Nice touch is the free tea coffee biscuits and ice cream. The latter a pleasant surpruse.
