Big hotel with lotsa space. Used to be really upmarket a decade ago. Unfortunately the area which used to be bustling so much is now a serious ghost town. Just an odd designer shop and one retail store in the darkness. So weird. Breakfast was not bad. Location is good.

Swimming pool needs beds and umbrellas for shade from the sun and to relax after swim.

I love staying at the Hatten Hotel. Been there many times. It is located conveniently in the heart of Bandar Hilir. What I love is that the coach bay is just next to it. Love the breakfast spread too. Thank you for the birthday surprise. Received a small piece of cake delivered to my room. Just take note the phone is not in working order in room 1354 ya. When I call out, the operator unable to hear me.

Generally, good location with lots of food and shopping nearby. Hotel staff friendly and very helpful. Room is spacious with good view but it's really scary to see stained pillow cases, and the same stain on the second day after housekeeping . So likely they didn't even bother to check or change the pillow cases. Next is the beverages area. There were stains on the table top and the layer of dust looked like they havnt been cleaning that area. Really disappointing for a hotel of this class.

Loving the stay

It’s good to offer the breakfast with the room. Charge more but offer it.

Check-in at Reception was quick and efficient. Carpets in the room had uncleaned stains. Toilets had black mould at the sink area and inside the shower stall and stains on the floor. Bed was nice and firm. Dinner buffet at the Chatterz was terrible. We had Satay Celup. Instead of giving us the peanut (satay) sauce, they gave us peanut soup which totally spoilt the dinner for us. To top it off, many of the food was cold / luke warm. We left after having a few mouthfuls. We had a similar bad experience with the buffet breakfast during our last stay. Overall, except for the poor maintenance / cleanliness in the room and toilet, the hotel is centrally located and provides easy accessibility to Mahkota Mall and Pahlawan Mall. Just give the F&B in the hotel a wide berth. Thank you.

The location is great. Near but not too near to local attractions. Give you a bit of walking exercise to see other things. Staff is very friendly. Room is clean and spacious.

Registered at counter and paid for extra bed but wasn't set up in room when we checked in after 6pm. No extra towel, no floor mat and toiletries and had to call housekeeping to get it sorted. Improvement needed on the above. Overall room was clean and spacious and staff did gave us the items that were missing.
