Usually the hotels in Japan is very small, and I expected that. However, one thing that astound me is that when I didn't select if I want a non-smoking room, which is usually a no brainer in the States, I got assigned to a smoking room automatically. I was trying to get a replacement for non-smoking room, but the clerks were not helpful. They didn't even try but just say, I am sorry.

I ve stayed here before. I picked it because of its location in case of rain. The bus station pick up for KOJ (¥1500) is downstairs, great Indoor Yatai stalls downstairs (go to the sushi bar #6 and get tamagoyaki - absolutely excellent dashi), easy walk to the trolley, JR Station, and major malls. The front desk staff is excellent. Very knowledgeable, efficient, and helpful. Oh...and for those that care, diverse. I typically like to write more about the extra things staff does to help. They went out of their way to accommodate my cousin whose phone stopped working.and they helped her. She couldn't get her pockettalk working...they helped her. Just to be able to ask someone for help is great. Other places just push people off by saying sorry. This place rocks. Our visit was short and sweet. We'll be back!

Very nice hotel st a great location.

A must place to stay if visiting Kagoshima needing easy access to train station, trams to get around the city and the airport bus. Just across the road from Kagoshima-Chou station, with underground access and above road covered walkway if raining. Best way to get to/from airport is with the airport bus for a 40 min ride. The hotel is in the same building as the bus, with exceptionally easy access. No problems with noise or security as rooms start on level 8. Reception is on level 7 with card access to floors with rooms. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Definitely a must to book a room with Sakurajima view, as sunrise views are must see with a smouldering volcano. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again on next visit to Kagoshima.

A great location for exploring Kagoshima. The rooms are a little more grimy as compared to other hotels in Japan. But all in all clean enough and comfortable. The view of the volcano alone makes it worth staying.

We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel and the only small issue I had was that the air conditioning could have been cooler.

This hotel is in an excellent location opposite Kagoshima chuo train station. We had an amazing view of Sakurajima volcano from our room on the 13th floor. The hotel is very comfortable with an excellent buffet breakfast. I would definitely stay here again!!

Clean room, staff are courteous, breakfast should have more westerners foods. great shops and restaurants nearby.

The room is very clean just that it's on the smaller side. Staff were very helpful. Location wise, it's really near to Kagoshima chuo station and trams stations which made travelling around really convenient.
