This hotel is wonderful. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with a great variety of delicious food. One of the highlights was opening the window and enjoying the fresh ocean breeze. The ocean view was absolutely stunning and made the stay even more relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway by the sea.

First thing, the Semi-Open Onsen bath on the 8th Floor with ocean views - Brilliant. Best thing about the hotel. The room was spacious, hotel was very clean - the staff did an excellent job. Free parking was a nice perk. Breakfast had a nice variety.

Great stay! We had the corner suite and it was huge with amazing view. Hotel was very quite and very clean. We also had half board and dinner included buffet that had king crabs and they also provided set menu at the table. Onsen was amazing and relaxing. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again when we are back in Beppu.

We didn’t know what to expect but were very happy with our stay at the Rex. It’s very clean, modern, great design and has an excellent indoor/outdoor onsen up on the top floor with an amazing ocean view. We loved that you had to take your shoes off at the entrance of the large and lovely lobby floor and go to our room in slippers. And there are also great public onsen nearby. Parking was included and there was a lot of parking spots very close to the entrance.

Room was great. Onsen was great. Front desk staff were not very friendly. My wife is Japanese and they were rude to both of us. Coming in at night after dinner no one says hello even though they are just sitting at the front desk. Nice room and comfortable bed. Shower was excellent too. Too bad the staff are not more friendly. It is a hotel after all....

This property has a lovely 8th floor infinity pool public bath overlooking the bay. All rooms face the bay and had both a nice view and we're muiet - the ocean waves easily heard from your balcony which faced a public parks beach. Staff there was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had an excellent selection of both japanese and western dishes.
