Estada individual

Cheap polyester pillows, and threadbare towels ruined an otherwise luxurious stay. The property is beautiful and well maintained. However, the soft goods are like those of a cheap 1-star motel and prevented a restful nice sleep. Clearly, management cut corners in the wrong place and is damaging its long term brand. They should just raise prices and buy real feather down pillows and quality comforters. Otherwise, it’s a property to avoid.

Beautiful boutique hotel. We were in the old part of the hotel dating from 1690 and the rooms was well restored with cosy ambience. If you're in this part be prepared for a lack of natural light but lovely river views from the original small warehouse window. Can't speak highly enough of the the reception staff who helped us immensely after our luggage was lost by LOT airlines on the way in. Their persistence helped us get our luggage delivered 10 minutes before our departure from the city. Thanks again.

The hotel is great & in an excellent location and the adjoining brewery restaurant was superb. But the room was very noisy with outside noise from 7:30am onwards considering we were on the fourth floor. Also the wooden floor creaked & banged every morning around 5:30am beside the bed which woke us up. Check out this morning was not the usual from a 5 star hotel. We did not get the usual “how was your stay & had everything been ok” In fact the receptionist was very blunt & cold with no smile on her face which is not what we usually encounter.

Hotel has two parts - unless you are staying in the old part (we thought we were, but something went wrong with booking and reception staff were not particularly helpful), then I wouldn’t recommend. The new part is clean, tidy - but characterless - nothing special and not worth the money - may as well save money and stay at the Holiday Inn over the road. Our view in a Premium room was of the car park. Staff seemed to portray it would be difficult to use any of the spa amenities and would have to pre book, so didn’t bother. In short, with a lot of hotel options in the area, I would likely not stay here again unless guaranteed in the old building with river view.
