The APA Hotel Kaminarimon’s location and price simply could not be better. Their room cleaning and towel policies are a little unusual (fresh towels are left everyday but trash cans are emptied only once every three days). Overall, however, this hotel is clean and comfortable.

We were very happy with our experience with APA in Asakusa. We had a double bed which was actually bigger than expected and was quite comfortable. Amenities were great and towels and necessities were replaced every day. Staff were friendly, helpful, and quick. Knowing that rooms in Tokyo are often on the small side, we were pleasantly surprised at how much can fit and still be reasonably comfortable. Deep tub with shower was a pleasant bonus!

AC cooled the room quickly, easy to use. Staff was very helpful and polite, patient when I was shipping my luggage. Had enough English to speak and understand. Always had plenty of towels and toiletries . 5 minute walk from Senso-ji.

As has always been my experience with APA hotels, the staff were patient and friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. As is common in Japan, and Tokyo in particular, the room was small, but as a larger guy I had no issues; I always stay at at least one APA hotel when I travel to Japan, and I'll continue to do so!

The room was way too small. It was too noisy also. We had to leave a day ahead even we paid for. Couldn’t put anything in the room.
