was disappointed with my recent stay at the AC Hotel Phoenix Tempe/Downtown. While I expected a clean, comfortable room from a Marriott property, our experience fell well below those expectations.
The biggest issue was that the air conditioning in our room did not work properly. Despite setting the thermostat to 72°F, the room remained warm throughout the entire night, making it difficult for us to sleep comfortably.
To make matters worse, my girlfriend discovered stains on the bed, which immediately raised concerns about the cleanliness of the room. Finding stained bedding is unacceptable at any hotel, especially one carrying the Marriott name.
Overall, the combination of the uncomfortable room temperature and the condition of the bedding made our stay frustrating and disappointing. I hope management takes these concerns seriously by ensuring guest rooms are thoroughly inspected, properly cleaned, and that maintenance issues like malfunctioning air conditioning are resolved before guests check in.
I chose Marriott because I expected a higher standard of quality and service, but unfortunately this stay did not meet those expectations.
