This cute little place by far exceeded our expectations. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean . Location was amazing, so close to a lot of amenities. The park close by was beautiful. My only complaint is the walls are paper thin as we could hear the people in the adjacent room the whole time. I couldn’t figure out the coffee maker but it wasn’t a problem as they offered cappuccino and latte’s in the lobby. The air conditioner was a life saver as London was very hot.

Lovely little hotel right next to Hyde Park, was perfect for our little stay-away. Staff were super helpful and kind, breakfast gave you a nice choice and was really yummy. Would definitely re-book if vising the city again.

Was disappointed with the basement room. Very hot. Wouldn’t stay again.

The room was very clean. It was small but perfect for a night in London. The air con worked really well. Would stay here again. It’s also very close to shops and tube stations.

Airports conditioning was welcome in the UK heatwave. Room was small but comfortable Staff all very pleasant Breakfast not a huge choice but perfectly adequate. Good location near 2 tube stations and various bus stops

Fantastic location as a base for exploring different parts of London, very clean & well maintained, staff were friendly & helpful especially those on reception. Breakfast was basic but ok. Would definitely recommend & will book again for future trips

AC was a godsend. Room was well-kept and sheets were comfortable. The hallways were a bit difficult to navigate and the beds were quite close together. Very creaky floors.

A mixed stay with fantastic staff, but avoid Room 109 ​I recently stayed in Room 109 and had a very mixed experience. On the positive side, the hotel is in a great location with easy access, and the property itself is very nice. One major benefit was having great air conditioning in the room, which was an absolute lifesaver. Most of all, the staff here are absolutely amazing—everyone I interacted with was incredibly helpful, friendly, and accommodating. ​Unfortunately, Room 109 itself had quite a few maintenance and comfort issues. There was constant background noise from the external fans next door, and the single mattress was very thin, lumpy, and uncomfortable (I actually had to ask the team for a double duvet just to lay on top of it for extra padding). Because the window only opened a tiny fraction, I was doubly grateful for that air conditioning, though the roller blinds were also incredibly stiff and difficult to operate. ​The bathroom also needs some attention: the sink plug was broken, and the toilet kept running constantly unless you gave it a double flush to make it stop. I also found myself having to get my key card recharged multiple times just to get into the room. ​As for breakfast, it was just okay. Some of the food items were cold on occasion, and it was a bit disappointing to have coffee served in a polystyrene cup. ​Overall, I would stay at the Porchester Hotel again because the location, the excellent AC, and the wonderful customer service make it worth it

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely little hotel. It’s in a wonderful location, the room was well-appointed and seemed new, and it was great to have someone at the desk 24/7. Very good value for the money. We initially had problems with the AC but, thanks to chatGPT, discovered that the thermostat was set to a power saving mode. Once we follow ChatGPT’s instructions, the AC worked great. We definitely hope to return.

The hotel itself was okay in a good area for Hyde Park. But the bed was so uncomfortable and the pillows were the worst. The safe did not work we were promised it would be sorted on the 1st day and it never was 3 days later.
