Having access to the facilities over the road in the Plaza Hotel was a real bonus. The walk along the lake path to Chateau Chillion is highly recommended.

Paying for cheaper hotel Villa Toscany you can still use facilities across the road sauna, swimming etc. which is great. Good location. I do struggle to find information on Expedia website that check in for Villa Toscany needs to be done in Royal plaza across the road if I knew it from begging would be more helpful.

Staff were lovely, very efficient and courteous. Couldn’t do enough for us. The walk across the road for breakfast was beautifully bracing and the view unsurpassed. So easy to wander leisurely into Montreux Christmas Market.

The stay was okay but I booked months in advance for a certain room and when I arrived they said it wasn't available this time of year, but I booked half a year ago so they could have easily had this room available so this ruined my stay
