Good location

Beds comfortable. Very clean rooms and bathroom. Hot and nice shower. Walking distance to downtown area. Decent continental breakfast. Would go back.

We had a terrible stay, our worst ever in a hotel. Across the street from our room, there was a nightclub where a music event was happening. There was a burger van with a generator just outside the building, as well as people shouting, screaming and vomiting in the street. There were also suped up cars revving and drag racing in the street. The sound proofing was non existent. The noise went on until 4am and obviously left us unable to sleep. We understand that noise in the local vicinity is out of the control of the hotel when an event is going on but it is their inexistent response that concerns us. We contacted the on-call reception number at around 1am to see if anything could be done, e.g. to move to a room on the other side of the hotel, but didn't receive a response until 8am. The response we eventually received showed no sympathy and simply asked if the noise was ongoing. We also complained at the reception desk in the morning and received no apology but simply a 'we couldn't do anything about it anyway'. I would argue that if a reception member responded overnight they could have called the police earlier, given that the police eventually cleared up the disturbance and anti social behaviour at around 4am. There was a complete lack of customer service and I would strongly recommend against staying at this hotel, especially on a weekend night.

Great location! The hotel is located in downtown Akureyri right by the tourist sites, restaurants, and tours. Fun stay!

Great location in the center of town. Clean efficient rooms. Decent, included breakfast.

Extremely outdated and small room. Good location. Breakfast was good but limited seating. Had to sit in the lobby to eat.

Friendly staff. Convenient location. Walk to downtown in a few minutes. Very nice breakfast. No elevator if that is a concern for you.

Outstanding customer service. Comfortable and clean room. Good shower. Bed cosy. Great location. Fabulous area for the Northern Lights. Great choices for breakfast, including good healthy options for me.
