The staff are Amazing, clean rooms, amazing food (albeit expensive) We enjoyed our time at the Wild Boar but and its a big but! The price of food was hard to swallow (pardon the pun)

Stunning hotel and grounds. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Bar and restaurant are lovely and the breakfast was delicious. The best part for me was the walk through the woods. Truly magical and so peaceful. Staff were very helpful! No aircon in the room which was a shame since we came at a really hot time however they did provide a fan which worked well.

I don’t want to be a bore about the Boar, but this was a special little haven in the woods. Stunning location, lovely bedrooms, excellent food, friendly staff. Treat yourself!

Lovely hotel, quaint & quirky, with low ceilings in places but not an issue. Pets were welcome. We had breakfast included and it was delicious, everything you needed. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom looked to be newly renovated.

We were upgraded to a luxury room. There was nothing luxury about it, very tired, tiles around the bath cracked and lifting, wall behind the bath water damage. The room looked nothing like the pictures, it was tiny, dark and gloomy. I understand it is an old building, but this room should definitely not be classed as luxury.
