Wonderful retro motel. Reminded us of our favorite motel in Palm Springs. Very welcoming hostess. Good restaurant nearby.

Parking was a little tight but we have stayed here over 20 years and find the Anchor very convenient near Brisbane airport (20min). Wynnum has convenient grocery andcall the stores you need with a nice RSL for evening meals all down the road a mile.

This was a perfect overnight spot for our family. The staff were lovely and accommodating. Our kids enjoyed the pool. We walked the coastline which was close to the motel.
