I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received during my recent stay at your hotel.
When I arrived to check in, the manager, Manny, made what should have been a simple process extremely unpleasant. He was confrontational, dismissive, and unwilling to assist me. Instead of helping resolve the issue, he made the entire check-in experience stressful and upsetting.
I reserved and paid for a standard room. I even showed him my reservation confirmation, yet he refused to accommodate the room I had booked and instead assigned me a room of his choosing. I did not feel that my concerns were heard or respected.
What made the experience even more troubling was that I couldn’t help but question whether I was treated differently because I am African American. As I looked around, most of the other guests appeared to be Caucasian or Hispanic, and I did not receive the same level of courtesy or professionalism that I observed being given to others. While I cannot say for certain that race played a role, the experience left me feeling singled out and disrespected.
No guest should leave a hotel feeling the way I did. I expected professionalism, respect, and the room I reserved. Instead, I left feeling frustrated, embarrassed, and deeply disappointed.
Because of this experience, I will not be staying at your hotel again. I hope you will take this complaint seriously, review the interaction, and ensure that future guests are treated with the respect and fairness they
