This is a backpacker's hotel in the Khao San district on Tanee Road. It's slightly more expensive than most competing places in this area, but as an older traveller I appreciated that this kept some of the rowdier travellers in this area away! I had a balcony room fronting the crowded street, which I enjoyed people watching from. The hotel was unable to provide me with baggage storage services even though I used the hotel as a jumping off platform for a number of trips in Thailand and returned there frequently. There is a paid storage service next door. The front desk is family-staffed and they were friendly and amiable. My only real complaint about Tanee Place was that their wifi was -- while not terrible -- much, much spottier and prone to disconnect than it should be for a hotel in the middle of Bangkok. Wifi here was the worst I had almost anywhere in Thailand and they really probably could use a freshening up of their infrastructure.

Everything was good , stayed for Sangkron lol I wouldn’t recommend if your trying to explore Bangkok burning these busy days , roads closed off unless your all about participating in the 4 days then it’s the perfect spot for you. I enjoyed the 7 eleven right across the street. One thing that really struck me was the shower/toilet combo. I’ve never seen anything like it but had to shower anyways . Very nice staff . But forsure a busy area

Bed was comfy and clean

Front desk staff extremely helpful and courteous. When the air conditioner in my room malfunctioned they quickly moved me to another room without hesitation.

the rooms(especially the budget room) is so small you do not have space to even put your foot when not on bed. Its not very clean either.

Sin mentirles lo único bueno fue la ubicación ya que estábamos cerca de todo! Un poco de ruido en la noche pero es obvio (no complaint por eso). Espejos y vidrios sucios lo que me hace pensar cómo estará el resto.. colchón durísimo, no solo tiene un enchufe para conectar lo que sea (ni siquiera facilitaron una zapatilla). El personal mucho que desear también! No muy amables ni preocupados. Triste porque vi muchas reviews buenas pero a mi no me tocó buena estadía en el hotel.
