Older hotels rooms kinda outdated.
No stairs so u ha e to lug ur luggage up stairs.
No micro in room..
And 30 dollar entrance fee to get to hotel..its in a national park so u gotta pay the fee..good note.grounds r beautiful..beautiful view from room

I had such a relaxing stay. 2 pools to choose from. A little porch to read and have coffee. Not to mention the beautiful landscape.

Beautiful place to relax, walk around, or sit by the fire. Staff was wonderful however the breakfast buffet wasn't that great. Very small and limited in choices for the price. Reminded me of a decent continental breakfast at a hotel that is included in your room.

Yeah my stay here was horrible. Do not stay here. They are infested with ants and there facility is disgusting. Its an old building that needs help. They need to tear it down and build a real resort. I get into my room use the restroom and see ants crawling on the shower. Then I wake up and see more ants on the desk where my gatorade bottle as well as my bag I left on the desk. This place was horrible and the fact that they wouldnt reimburse me say it all. I didn't stay for the 2 nights I left the next day. It was my birthday and they didnt even bother to credit me or say anything about the ant infestation they have. The front desk guy was telling everyone they have a starbucks onsite. He lied no starbucks just a wanna be starbucks that looked like it needed to be remodeled.

Beautiful view from the restaurant . The room was worn and dated. The coffeemaker in the room had an old k-cup in it. So that was gross. There was an old broken lamp in the hallway of our building. I don’t think I would stay here again

As requested, got a nice room with balcony and a beautiful direct view of Lake Powell and the rocks/mountains of the Utah side, across the lake. My room was in the furthest building of the resort and was calm and peaceful, except for the last night of my stay - since the outdoor pool is open until 10 pm (which I find unacceptable for a peaceful resort), and although my building was some 300 yards away, a bunch of kids were screaming and splashing in the pool after 9:30 pm, making noise that was audible and disturbing. I had to call the front desk to stop it.
The resort has a lovely restaurant with beautiful views of the lake and the mountains and dining at sunset is truly charming.
Parking space was ample and staying at this resort is a good location to make daily trips to Mountain Valley and even the Grand Canyon North Rim, as well as visiting closer sites that are abundant. A stay here was a highlight of my trip to Arizona.

We had to pay a $16 resort fee and they said breakfast buffet was $3 per person. But the next morning we found out breakfast was $20 per person. Their restaurants didn't have much for gluten free and they were very expensive. Cheapest thing for dinner was $42! Breakfast food was very very good and beautiful view! Room was small and basic. But clean and quiet. Bed comfortable.
