近くにお気に入りのレストランがあるので、夕食無しプランが利用したくてこちらを選択しました が、結果として大満足。こんな素晴らしい泉質の温泉が岩室にあったことを知りませんでした。硫黄泉が好きなら、貸切風呂の黒湯は、絶対におすすめ。露天風呂も同じ泉質らしいのですが、天候などで変化するらしく訪問した時の露天風呂は、硫黄の香りは強くしましたが、黒湯でなくて白濁した湯でした。それでも充分に良い温泉なのですが、黒湯のインパクトにはかないません。 岩盤浴よりも個人的にはより好みな薬石浴もあって、滞在中は温泉三昧させて頂きました。最高でした！ もともと大型ホテルとして有名だったホテル大橋が個人客向けにリニューアルして穂々になったので、調度品や広くて手入れされた庭園やスタッフの対応などには、歴史に裏打ちされた上質さが感じられます。 ドッグランがあったり、動物を連れたお客様が多かったのでアニマフレンドリーなお宿なのかもしれません。そのマインドのおかげなのか露天風呂によくある虫をすくうアミに添えられたも文章も生き物視点で書かれていて、ちょっとホッコリしました。 屋上の月光浴で星が見られたり、庭で日本製の花火が楽しめたり、魚の餌やりができたり、広々したロビーに無料のドリンクバーがあったり、裸足で使う館内スリッパには他の人と間違わないようにシールを貼れるようになっていたり、滞在時間を楽しめる小さな配慮が数えきれず、好感度が上がりました。 宿泊したお部屋の窓からは遮るものがない眺めも良く、また次もこちらに宿泊したいと思います。

家族で泊まりました。館内は温泉の硫黄の匂いがします。庭園も手入れが行き届いていました。8時頃ですがピアノの生演奏が心地良かったです。客室内は年季が入っていますが清潔に保たれています。また泊まりたいと思いました。

Glad that the hotel has free pick up fr the JR Stn as its a distant fr the station. Easy access for day trips around Niigata prefecture. Like the onsen hot spring available here. Good dinner!
